The venue of the 2016 Finn Junior World Championship will be the Kaløvig Sailing Center home of  Kaløvig Sailing Club which is a long time Sailing Aarhus partner club;  recently the Kaløvig Sailing Club hosted the 2015 Nacra 17 World Championship and the 2015 Laser Standard and Radial European Championships and is home of the Danish Olympic Sailing Team.

The club has a vast variety of facilities such as accommodation and camping facilities, restaurant and shopping/supermarkets nearby, craning and berthing facilities, fuel station etc.
